Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO or Manhattan Beach CA, and will support the Sentinel program.
What You'll Get To Do:
The qualified candidate will report to the Team Lead in C&L Infrastructure.
They will design, document, and test cables and or breakout boxes.
Conducts LRU interface research, process documents and collaborates with other engineers to determine best design for each set of cables.
Will integrate delivered LRUs under direction of the technical lead.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent STEM related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 12 years of relevant experience, 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree, or 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD
US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
Electrical Engineer with some experience with hardware design
Proficient with any electrical CAD tool set
Must know how to design schematics and be good with detailed design work
Familiar with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes (any tool)
Comfortable understanding mil-specs and have an ability to understand and clarify system hardware requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Capital Logic, Harness, and Systems Architect tool experience
Experience with Siemens Team Center PLM

Company Information: At Radiation Test Solutions, we provide radiation effects testing on electronics in support of large and small aerospace companies and device manufacturers. We are a smaller, rapidly growing company based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Job Description: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team as an individual contributor responsible for testing the radiation tolerance and system survivability of electronic components and systems in natural and/or man-made radiation environments, including terrestrial, airborne, and space applications. As a member of our highly qualified team, expertise in every area is not required.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement electrical test setups suitable for performing various radiation effects testing.
Evaluate and analyze electrical test results for validity and statistical significance.
Document radiation-induced effects on electronic parts and other materials (test plan/report).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Requirements:
Understanding of electronic components - what they do and how they work.
Ability to design circuits.
Ability to test to a data sheet.
Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is ideal but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; degrees in Engineering/Physics with relevant experience will be considered.
2 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities
+ Perform electrical and mechanical analysis at the rack level, including signal, power, and thermal aspects.
+ Generate engineering drawings in accordance with IEEE standards, including rack assembly drawings, interconnect wiring diagrams, and custom cable assemblies.
+ Analyze supplier Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) including step-file and 3D model review for compliance to specifications.
+ Support system integration, test, development, and execution of various types of complex communications systems.

+ Provide lab and site integration, test, and maintenance support.
