Responsibilities:
Update and maintain as built/record drawings in our electronic document control system
Assist Foreman/Safety Engineer with new hire paperwork, orientation, and video
Distribute all mail to the Foreman to include copying or emailing scheduled updates etc.
Assist material handler with filing and follow-up paperwork such as backorders
Assist QA/QC Manager with filing
Manage Nevada State license list for journeymen and training numbers for anyone that applies
Assist with timekeeping duties for field employees
Track tool orders, tool returns, damaged tools and stolen tools
Complete daily job journals with input from Foreman
Assist with any manual checks and termination slip(s) and send all information to payroll
Requirements:

Goals and Expectations of the Intern:
Complete 120 hours of work as an intern (8-15 hours per week, 15 weeks total)
We are in the process of purchasing solidworks Electrical and this intern will be part of the library build out. Each electrical component will have a model and all meta data created. The student will be adding all terminal info to each part, voltage info, etc. Each project will have a variety of parts that need to be generated. Once the part level is complete they will take these parts build a 3D model and electrical schematic using this tool.

Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno during the Spring ‘25 semester

Essential Functions
· Support the Plants and the Projects teams in developing scope, electrical design, and budgets for facility capital improvement projects.

· Develop procedures related to equipment maintenance, inspection, and testing.
