The ideal candidate will be proficient with E3 design tools and PDMLink for drawing creation and publication. This role involves close collaboration with an internal Contract Engineering Electrical Team to support new product development and integrate updates into existing systems. Key Responsibilities Create and update electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings. Develop, revise, and publish engineering documentation using PDMLink (Windchill). Execute electrical drawings using E3 (Zuken E3 Series). Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical assemblies. Provide support to Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) as an **Electrical Engineering Intern - Limited Service Employee (LSE)** on the Savannah River Site (SRS), a US Department of Energy (DOE) facility in Aiken, South Carolina. **Responsibilities** The **Electrical Engineering Interns** will perform meaningful work in support of the SRMC organization. Selected **Electrical Engineering Interns** will be assigned to 1 of 4 SRMC production facilities or Design Engineering where the intern, as part of the Electrical Engineering group will: - Work daily on various technical topics with an engineering mentor - Provide assistance to electrical system engineers to assess system health, prepare/review design changes, determine replacements for obsolete parts, troubleshoot system equipment, review work packages, support/resolve installation technical issues. - Provide assistance to mechanical system engineers to determine replacements for obsolete parts, troubleshoot system equipment. Additional Information: The internship is expected to be a 10-12 week period from May 2026 until the end of July 2026. Housing is not provided, but reasonable rentals may be available through local university student housing offices. The selected candidate will be responsible for their own transportation. A 40-hour work week is set and scheduled by the individual departments.
