About the Role
We're hiring a full-time Electrical Construction Engineer / Field Engineer who can take charge of active job sites, lead technicians, coordinate daily field operations, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. This role is fully field based. You'll travel to project sites daily across the Northeast, supervise installation activities, solve issues in real time, and ensure that electrical and lighting retrofit work meets Oberon's quality standards. What you'll be responsible for
• Daily travel to job sites across MA, NH, and ME
• Supervise LED and electrical retrofit crews during day-to-day field work

Job Summary: Define, develop, and execute comprehensive electrical test plans to evaluate key performance parameters. This role requires expertise in high-frequency electrical testing and an understanding of IEEE, IEC, and other relevant standards. Beyond testing, the Electrical Test Engineer will also manage the electrical test lab equipment, ensuring the proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of critical test equipment, such as vector network analyzers (VNAs), oscilloscopes, time-domain reflectometers (TDRs), LCR meters, and hipot testers. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical performance issues, analyzing test data, and providing recommendations to improve product designs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop, define, and execute electrical test plans for medical cable assemblies, connectors, and specialty cables.
* Conduct signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), impedance, capacitance, resistance, crosstalk, insertion loss, return loss, and high voltage hipot testing to validate product performance.
* Perform DC and AC testing on cable assemblies and connectors to ensure compliance with medical, IEEE, IEC, and industry-specific electrical standards.
* Evaluate EMI shielding effectiveness, dielectric breakdown, contact resistance, and insertion/extraction force testing.
* Perform accelerated ageing and life testing via temperature/humidity, autoclave and STERRAD testing.
Skills/Qualifications Needed:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related field.
* 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, in high-speed cables, connectors, or medical device manufacturing.
* Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers (VNAs), oscilloscopes, TDRs, LCR meters, and other advanced electrical test equipment
Other Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in managing and maintaining electrical test laboratory equipment is a plus.
* Experience with medical device documentation requirements.
* Experience in testing high speed USB and HDMI products is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
* .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
* 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
* 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
* Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
