Develop power distribution, lighting, emergency, and communication systems for municipal, K-12, university, and industrial buildings. Perform advanced system analysis, including load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and coordination studies. Select and specify electrical distribution equipment, lighting systems, and controls. Oversee and guide the development of electrical construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Ensure all designs comply with NFPA, NEC, energy codes, and other relevant standards. Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of professional growth. Collaborate directly with clients, architects, and project managers to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions. Participate in business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations. Prepare and review technical reports, engineering specifications, and cost estimates. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and support construction administration. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power distribution, or a related field. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required. Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain one within one year. Proficiency in electrical design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and power analysis tools (such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower). Proven experience leading projects, managing budgets, and mentoring junior staff. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interface with diverse teams and clients. Deep understanding of electrical systems, industry codes, and sustainable design practices.
