As a member of the Munters ElectricalEngineering team, you will hold an important role in developing and supporting custom HVAC solutions for Data Centers and other commercial clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop standard and custom air handler solutions by generating schematic drawings, selecting components, and preparing equipment documentation.
Create and maintain controls programs for complex air handler and heat transfer systems.
Provide and maintain control interfaces for electrical components such as motors, fans, VFDs, and other electrical equipment to meet project requirements.
Support new product development with conceptual designs and layouts, as needed.
Participate in Kaizen and other cross functional teams to improve designs.
Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design/design for manufacturing.
Prepare detailed technical documentation to support varying levels of technical and non-technical personnel.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum B.S. in ElectricalEngineering or ElectricalEngineering Technology.
SKILLS:
Proficiency in control system theory and experience with PLC programming, graphic and HMI development and implementation.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and project completion.
Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrated problem solver & team player.
Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, VFDs, and various industrial communication systems.
Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) and networking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
