This position is part of the Newport News Shipbuilding's Washington Technical Office (WTO), responsible for providing Design and Engineering support to service Navy platforms. NNS Engineering presents a challenging, fast paced team environment with the opportunity to excel, along with significant potential for professional growth. Three tracks are available: Engineering Design, Project Technical Engineering, and Technical Liaison. Engineering Design is responsible for Electrical, Structural, Mechanical and Fluid engineering design of a wide variety of ship systems and components. Conduct design, analysis, studies, evaluation, and recapitalization of electrical circuits, power monitoring and control systems, electric propulsion, and power generation.
