The Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will direct contractors, coordinate with maintenance and others in the planning and execution of capital projects and related activities. The Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) will also intersect with other members of management and the Corporate Engineer to ensure effective communication to support the performance of this function.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific primary responsibilities are defined by the following, but not limited to;
Develops, implements, and maintains capital investment and automation strategies, programs and projects.
Designs and implements engineering processes, policies and procedures.
Plans and establishes engineering agenda and ensures performance scheduling.
Development and management of the engineering project portfolio.
Monitoring and control of capital spending.
Project plan development including scope, schedule, budget estimate, and risk identification.
Responsible for new installation and equipment improvements.
Hands on trouble shooting of complex integrated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
Designs and implements engineering processes, policies and procedures.
Identifies and implements process, equipment and functional improvements to achieve excellence.
Plans and establishes engineering schedules and ensures performance to schedule.
Set engineering strategies to support business objectives.
Operational
Ensures compliance of all safety requirements by Maintenance employees during outage including, but not limited to:
Crane safety.
Fire protection.
General safety/environmental required activities.
LOTO
Manages all major outages throughout the plant while coordinating equipment re-builds both on and off site. Coordinates major outage activities with respective planners to minimize downtime.
Provides expertise in the principles of root cause analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create an environment of continuous asset reliability improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
Carnegie Robotics has a growing line of Autonomous systems. Applications include commercial equipment such as floor scrubbers and pallet jacks, off road vehicles such as side by sides, and a variety of military vehicles. Each project presents unique design challenges due to the nature of the host platform, and the customer's desired application of that platform. As an Autonomous Systems ElectricalEngineer you will work to meet our customer's needs. Qualifications
A global law firm seeks to hire a junior associate to join their dynamic Intellectual Property Procurement and Portfolio Management practice.
The ideal candidate must have a background in electricalengineering up to three years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Candidates must also be admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice and in good standing before one or more state bars. The associate will be involved in a variety of intellectual property matters, including those involving patent, trademark and copyright preparation, prosecution and counseling, licensing, opinion work and litigation support.
