The Truckee area Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring administrative, contractual, financial and technical aspects of the assigned project(s) being executed. As an Automation Engineer I, you will take ownership of assigned projects, with specific focus on design and development. You will also be responsible for handling SCADA project-related tasks of intermediate scope and complexity. Provide excellent customer service, including same day response to customer emails or calls. Commission solar PV SCADA projects. Consistently meet Nor-Cal's Core Values. Preferred experience: Engineering B.S. degree (Automation, Controls, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar), or equivalent experience. 1- 3 years of experience designing and developing SCADA systems for utility-scale solar PV projects. Professional knowledge of SCADA, process instrumentation, PLC programming, and control systems.
