    Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Test Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of test systems for electrical and control subsystems across robotic product lines. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency, traceability, and test coverage of our cutting-edge products. Responsibilities * Build and implement automated test solutions for embedded hardware. * Collaborate daily with design, systems, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and manufacturability of products. * Analyze test data to detect issues, drive root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. * Support new product introduction (NPI) by creating scalable test strategies from prototype to production. * Maintain and update documentation for test equipment, processes, and protocols. * Mentor junior engineers and technicians while continuously improving test practices and tools. Essential Skills * 5-7+ years of relatable experience in test engineering. * Proficiency in firmware, electrical engineering, design, and test engineering. * Strong skills in C++ and Python. * Experience developing automation software to test hardware at the PCBA, sub-assembly, and complete assembly level. * Understanding embedded systems communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, EtherCAT. * Experienced in designing and deploying test fixtures from both software and hardware standpoints. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE) or a similar field. * Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), test result databases, and statistical process control (SPC). * Exposure to safety-critical product development and regulatory compliance standards. * Experience in robotics or highly integrated mechatronic systems. Work Environment The role offers a 50/50 split between lab/manufacturing floor and office settings. Initially, the position requires on-site presence 5 days a week, with the potential for flexibility in the future. You will have the opportunity to work on our next-generation V5 robot, contributing to innovative and exciting projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.31/hr.
