Client Systems has an immediate opening for a Contract Printed Circuit Board Designer.
A Contract Printed Circuit Board Designer assists engineers in the design and development of complex, detailed layouts of printed circuit boards used in airborne and other demanding environments.
In this position, the Contract Printed Circuit Board Designer will be responsible for creating multilayer high-density printed circuit board designs using Mentor Graphics tools (Xpedition PCB Layout, Autorouter, Drawing Editor, DMS, etc.) per Electrical and Mechanical Engineering input in a highly structured development environment.
The fabrication drawing package will be created per IPC and/or MIL specifications.
Responsibilities:
You will perform detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards under the direction of electrical and mechanical engineers.
You will work from schematics, net lists, part lists, and basic description of the board function, constraints, configuration, and arrangement as defined by electrical and mechanical engineers.
You will check drawings against the project input for correctness and conformance to standard engineering drafting practices and standards.
You will create electronic library symbols, geometry, footprints, etc.
You will work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage, and other tool improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Design and configure camera, lens, filter, and lighting systems to support robust and repeatable imaging for automated inspection.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Vision, or related discipline; or 8+ years of relevant hands-on hardware engineering experience.
Practical expertise with machine vision cameras, optics, filters, and industrial lighting solutions.

Senior Electrical Engineer (SEE) Senior Project Manager (SPM)
The Position
The Senior Electrical Engineer (SEE) Senior Project Manager (SPM) for Above Group shall contribute and support leadership of Power, Lighting, and Low Voltage Engineering in addition to Project Management efforts of cross discipline Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) projects for the firm. The SEE SPM shall be a graduated engineer from an ABET accredited institution who shall directly contribute to the Firm and its success through engineering, design, technical leadership, and project management efforts. The SEE SPM is also responsible for contributing to the growth of the team by leading and mentoring subordinate staff in expanding their capabilities and contributions. The SEE SPM shall execute design duties as required to ensure quality products.
The SEE SPM shall be an Electrical Engineer registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) at a minimum. Additional credentials are encouraged and desired.
The SEE SPM is an Electrical Engineer by education and experience, with the following characteristics:
Ability to combine personal judgment with project information and knowledge of codes and standards to implement design criteria.
Has expertise in Power, Lighting, Grounding, Lightning Protection, Fire Alarm, Communications and Electronic Security systems. Experience with Medium Voltage Equipment systems a plus. Priority given to experience with healthcare facilities, central plant infrastructure (generator plants and substations), and aerospace facilities
Demonstrates proficiency with load demand calculations, one-line distribution development, load flow, short-circuit analysis and arc flash hazard analysis.
Experience with SKM Powertools for Windows, Visual (or AGI32) and other applicable tools.
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as an individual. Communicates effectively with individuals in the organization.
Capable of interpreting information set forth in a Scope of Work, Basis of Design, field surveys and code research.
Project involvement: Engineer of record from concept phase, through construction documents and construction administration.
Directs and mentors subordinate staff of their responsibilities on a daily basis.
The SEE SPM is an Electrical Designer:
Basic knowledge of NEC and electrical calculations
Designs layout of lighting, lighting controls, receptacles, equipment rooms, and equipment connections in coordination with team members within the discipline, as well as project team members in other disciplines. Prepares panelboard and equipment schedules
Proficient with design drawing software including Revit and AutoCAD.
Performs system calculations. Sizes and selects system components.
Reviews shop drawing submittals, and travels to job sites to perform field verification.
Produces field reports and punch lists.
The SEE SPM develops organizational skills including technical writing and time management:
Uses excellent writing skills to author basis of design (BOD) narratives, design criteria documents, feasibility studies, condition assessment reports, engineering studies and reports, and other high quality highly technical written documents as needed.
Uses excellent writing skills to edit design specifications; respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) incorporating information from project documents, specifications,
Reviews shop drawings and submittals to evaluate compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and design documents and criteria.
Reads relevant project correspondence and maintains project design files.
The SEE SPM provides Project Management for MEP/FP engineering and design projects:
Responsible for all projects assigned.

Responsibilities
Lead and Oversee Large-Scale Capital Projects: Take ownership of major capital initiatives, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.

This role offers the chance to lead projects and people in a collaborative environment. As the Architect-Engineer Design Project Manager you will lead design projects, guide a talented team and ensure deliverables are on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive the success of important government projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Manage federal IDIQ contracts and client relationships
Project Management: Plan, coordinate and manage all MEP project activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes and specifications
Design Oversight: Develop, review and approve MEP design and construction documents, ensuring compliance with engineering standards
Team Leadership: Supervise a team of in-house designers, subcontractors and consultants
Collaboration: Partner with architects, engineering, contractors and stakeholders for successful project delivery
Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and team members for their professional growth
Site Inspection: Ensure adherence to engineering specifications
Budget Schedule: Deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Certification: Professional Engineering (PE) license
Experience: 10+ years of MEP engineering (such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical) experience
Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems, engineering standards, construction methods and safety laws
Project Management: Proven track record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines
Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, design software (such as AutoCAD or Revit)
Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel to project sites, bid meetings and kick-off calls as needed
