As a successful candidate you have experience in residential electrical work. The ability to manage all aspects of the project—from planning electrical work to scheduling sub work —and you have the ability to supervise multiple field electricians.
In this role, you'll be:


Interpreting plans and specifications for electrical portion of project plans Generating and resolving RFIs/change orders for electrical work needed. Producing and assisting with purchases with detailed bill of electrical materials for submittals and project buyout Managing site electrical projects Assist in creating project schedules and update throughout the electrical construction process Performing job walks with contractors and owners as assigned Delegating responsibilities and ensuring projects are completed on time And tackling other duties as needed
As a successful candidate, you have:


Residential electrical experience. Texas electrical journeyman license preferred. The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Knowledge of blueprints, specifications, codes and regulations Good communication skills and strong electrical, organizational and analytical skills General computer know-how and exposure to home/office software (E.g. MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, etc.) The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize issues. Driver’s license with clean record.

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements, and budget considerations. Multi-Family Experience is a HUGE plus but not required. We need a strong leader.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools of the electrical trade.

Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work.

Ability to supervise the work of skilled workers.

Considerable knowledge of the National Electrical Code for electrical installations.

Ability to interpret and work from instructions, penciled plans and sketches, and blue prints.

Ability to communicate and coordinate with superiors and subordinates

Ability to estimate materials and labor costs.

Skill in the use and care of all hand and shop tools and equipment of the electrician's trade.

Job Duties

Other job duties include managing a team, evaluating employees' progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems are all personnel responsibilities that an electrical foreman may have. Other work responsibilities often include organizing and planning a construction project, directing work, inspecting installations for quality, making sure code standards are met, and ensuring job safety.
