Essential Functions

• Demonstrate substantial blueprint knowledge
• Knowledge of layout from field sketches
• Familiar with controls
• Performs panel terminations
• Able to size conduit and boxes
• Troubleshoot motors and controls and power circuitry
• Knowledge of underground rough
• Possesses theory knowledge
• Working knowledge of t.v., security, and sound system installation
• Performs underground layout and rough
• Performs rigging and set-up

Work Environment
This job operates in various outdoor locations in any type of weather. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise is to be expected.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work overhead, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools. Some work may be at heights up to and exceeding 90 feet and may be in confined spaces. Responsibilities:

• Maintain the plants electrical & mechanical equipment to optimize production
• Schedule preventive maintenance repairs on conveying systems, power transmissions, and other power driven rotating equipment, (computerized preventative charts/data). Document work schedule and work tasks completed
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair production equipment that is electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic in nature (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, pinpointing, and fixing breakdowns)
• Upgrade production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory- determine and manage stocking levels
• Assist with the plant preventive maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in industrial electrical
• 480VAC / Low voltage DC electrical troubleshooting
• Attention to Detail- Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
• Conveyers (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls)
• Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)
• Experience with basic schematics and electrical systems (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, electrical blueprints, switches, starters, fuses, contacts, maps, relays, installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)

Working Conditions

• Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 70 pounds most of the work day.
• Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements occasionally.

Job Title: Secret Aircraft (Electrical) Maintenance D

Job Description:

L3Harris is actively seeking a successful candidate will be experienced in performing major and minor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance IAW military T.O.s, commercial maintenance manuals, and service bulletins of aircraft electrical systems/subsystems, and flight instrument systems. They will also provide technical assistance and guidance during aircrew de-briefs and perform towing, marshalling, and positioning of aircraft on flight line. Perform other related tasks as required in support of engineering, testing, and production for the program.

Job Requirements:

+ Having electrical/mechanical experience with: P-3, P-8, 737, or other relevant aircraft experience.

+ Being able to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, T.O specs, and engineering specifications.

+ Must be able to assemble close tolerance parts and use common hand tools.

+ Must be able to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, aircraft support equipment and towing vehicles.

+ Must complete a flight line physical.

+ Must be able to climb, including ladders, stairs, and portable stands and navigate these without assistance.

+ Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, odor, and dust.

+ Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds.

+ Must have own tools. If hired, tools must be etched and shadowed. L-3/IS will provide the material to complete this task.

+ Must wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

+ Work schedule can be 7 days a week, up to 20% overtime, and travel up to 25% to support the Mission.

Preferred Skills (beyond required):

+ Aircraft related Associates degree or A&P license + a minimum of 6 years aircraft maintenance experience. May substitute education with an additional 2 years related experience and a High School diploma / GED.

+ Working knowledge of Periodic Maintenance Information Cards/Maintenance Requirement Cards.

+ Must have a minimum current Secret clearance.

+ Experience with the Navy NALCOMIS/OOMA

+ Experience in managing Compass Calibration, Battery, and any other related US Navy Aviation Electrician programs.

+ Qualified Collateral Duty Inspector on P-8 platform is a plus
