The Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer with interests in Electrical forensic investigation, litigation support, risk loss consulting, repair, and retrofit design. You will have the opportunity to lead investigations in the built environment, industrial facilities, transportation sector and high tech applications. You will be supported in this role by a diverse team ranging from entry-level engineers to senior management.

Position Description

We will provide you the opportunity to manage projects independently, manage junior engineers, and interact independently with clients. We will support you in business development activities such as conferences and business development events.

You will be working directly with a wide variety of clients, including attorneys, property owners, contractors, and insurance professionals, on a wide range of investigations which may involve:
Field InvestigationsProperty Assessment and AnalysisExtent and Scope of DamageCause of DamageNational Electric Code and various Building Code AnalysisConstruction DefectsProfessional Standard of Care

You may be called to serve as an expert witness in various scenarios, including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. We will support you should such matters arise.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.Professional Engineering (PE) License in at least one jurisdiction and the ability to obtain licensure in others.Ability to write reports that clearly express engineering opinions and conclusions and support these conclusions/opinions with facts and sound engineering principles.Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, meet deadlines and travel to work sites.4 to 12 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering Field.Ability and willingness to travel for short durations for certain assignments.

+ Conduct site visits and field inspections of low voltage systems.

+ Lead low-voltage technology design for variety of project types

+ Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, Autodesk CAD and Revit platforms.
