RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safety of all employees and contractors working in operating unit or department by driving continuous improvement towards a true safety culture. This ;includes supporting all cooperate safety programs, developing SOP's, identifying and eliminating hazards, and enforcing all safety rules.
Drives safety, quality and environmental improvement through active participation and leadership with employees.
Supervise electrical department personnel including training, performance management and scheduling activities.
Assist with hiring and orientating new employees.
Develop self and staff to ensure personal and professional growth.
Lead and participate in process improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
Schedule and assign all tasks required to meet preventative/predictive electrical maintenance needs of the facility including hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics and power (transformers & PDC), and motor control variable speed drive (AC DC) utilizing the EAM system.
Manage inventory of spares arid critical spares according to site business plan and engage with key suppliers to optimize cost savings opportunities for the department
Supervise construction, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment including EOM and Cap-X projects.
Work closely with Vendors Regulatory Agencies, Corporate Engineering, and LP Project Managers to meet plant objectives, diagnose complex problems and meet plant goals.
Develop PLC & HMI software to operate or improve equipment
Participate on multi-function site business team and manage to department budget.
Maintain knowledge of industry-wide technological developments.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience supervising an Electrical team
3+ years plant/industrial electrical/maintenance systems experience
Supervising Electricians License or Journeyman's License preferred
High School Degree; Technical or Vocational school preferred

Job Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all electrical maintenance work is completed in the safest, highest quality, and most efficient manner possible.
Responsibilities:
Manages the electrical maintenance work force and provides on-site expertise, ensuring the electrical craft workers are properly qualified.Support both North Georgia Operations on all Electrical issues.Provides expertise to prepare, implement and revise the Preventative and Predictive Programs. Ensures that maintenance is planned, scheduled and performed in the most cost-effective manner.Reviews work planning and weekly scheduling with Production Area Supervisors and attends weekly planning meetings. Ensures all parts and tools are provided to craft workers prior to work being performed. Ensures equipment availability is adequate to meet the budget expectations. Champions proactive maintenance, encouraging all production and maintenance personnel to turn in work to be planned and scheduled. Approves emergency work rescheduling planned work when necessary.Ensures that all data collected regarding the work process is accurate and complete when being entered into the data bank.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline OR minimum 3 years equivalent experience in a heavy industrial environment Knowledge of electrical maintenance processes, including preventive/predictive maintenance procedures such as temperature analysis, grounding, and energy usage, as well as troubleshooting and repair.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, lead, coach, and motivate the workforce.Capable of developing and ensuring compliance to a work schedule based on immediate and future needs with available resources.Proven skills in assessing the nature of a situation, identifying options, selecting best alternative, and implementing the chosen plan Internal customer focused and proven strong team member.Ability to use financial information in decision making and find ways to reduce cost.
