Electrical Test Engineer

As an electrical test engineer at Astranis, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing tests and test systems (ground support equipment) for all the custom electronics on our spacecraft. You'll prove that our suite of power, analog, digital, and RF designs work across environments to guarantee success on orbit.

Job Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

This job is working in support of our manufacturing test facility. The everyday assignments include solving technical issues and troubleshooting of complex electronic circuits. The successful candidate will utilize common test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers in addition to electronic analysis tools developed internally.

As an Electrical Engineer in Manufacturing Test, your responsibilities include troubleshooting of complex electronic circuits and providing technical leadership to test technicians. A strong candidate should be very organized and able to communicate both successes and ask for help with challenging tasks when necessary.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Bachelor of Science (BS, B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
* The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
* This role requires ability to work on teams while also completely individual assignments. Strong job candidates will be driven to complete tasks without continuous oversight.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

* Preferred 2+ years experience in a electronic circuits test environment, specifically troubleshooting and problem solving. A standout candidate has skill troubleshooting both digital and RF circuits to the component level.
* Secret Clearance is preferred, but can be obtained after hiring process is complete.

Zoox's Advanced Hardware Engineering team is looking for a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to work closely with our circuit design engineers on the development of in-house electronics for our robots. You will also be involved in root causing board failures, sometimes leading you deep into the vehicle architecture.

ResponsibilitiesWork cross functionally with various teams to develop in-house electronics for our autonomous vehicle Define test plans, design and run board-level signal and power integrity tests for validating the electric design and its margins Utilize internal and external standards to define and track appropriate test thresholds.
