Requirements

1. Communicates with Electricians and others to perform job tasks. 2. Works around hazardous wiring. 3. Measures, cuts, bend, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit using rulers, hand tools, power tools. 4. Splices wires using hand tools, soldering equipment, tape or terminal gaps.
5. Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
6. Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
7. Unwinds and pulls cable.
8. Connects power cable to equipment using hand tools.
9. Tests the installed equipment for safety and electrical compatibility.
10. Disassembles defective electrical equipment.
