Join Our Team as an Electrical Service Technician - Temple, TX About the Role: Are you an Industrial Electrician with strong PLC experience looking for a career with cutting-edge technology? BHS Corrugated is hiring an Electrical Service Technician to support advanced digital printing systems integrated with corrugating machinery. No prior digital print experience? We'll train you! This position offers hands-on work, independence, and the chance to represent a global leader in the corrugated industry. Travel is required-approximately 75% nationwide. What You'll Do: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for high-tech printing and corrugating equipment. Diagnose PLC and electrical issues using schematics and advanced diagnostic tools. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls. Communicate effectively with customers and document service activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards during machine start-up and shutdown. What We're Looking For: Industrial electrician experience with strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Familiarity with Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and drive/control technology. Knowledge of servos, drives, and process control systems. Comfortable using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters. Willingness to travel up to 75%. Ability to learn proprietary software and digital print systems (training provided). Physical ability to work in industrial environments (lifting 30 lbs, climbing ladders, working in hot/cold conditions). Preferred Skills: Experience with Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth IndraWorks DS, or E-Plan. Previous field service or maintenance engineering experience. Corrugating machinery experience is a plus.
