The Village of Palatine Department of Public Works is seeking an... Electrician This position performs a variety of tasks at the journeyman level in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures on water pumping stations, sewer lift stations, Village-owned buildings and equipment. The Electrician is primarily assigned to the Utilities Division, but is expected to assist in others divisions as directed and works regularly with the Facilities Division to assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair. This position also performs a variety of non-electrical semi-skilled to skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair and construction of water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems; public streets; and the urban forest.
