WHAT YOU'LL DO Under the Chief Engineer's direction, supervise and direct contractors and monitor performance Assist the Chief Engineer in the formulation and implementation of the preventive maintenance program Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Monitors operation, adjusts and maintains chilled water and air conditioning equipment; ventilating fans; hot water heating pumps; hot water heaters; valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required. Complete electrical installations; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc. Install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team for full-time, long-term industrial work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with travel and ready to work on job sites across multiple states. Expect to be away from home approximately 50% of the time, with all travel expenses and per diem covered.
