WHAT YOU'LL DO Under the Chief Engineer's direction, supervise and direct contractors and monitor performance Assist the Chief Engineer in the formulation and implementation of the preventive maintenance program Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Monitors operation, adjusts and maintains chilled water and air conditioning equipment; ventilating fans; hot water heating pumps; hot water heaters; valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
Complete electrical installations; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.
Install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.

Position Purpose:
Performs a variety of maintenance functions at water production and related facilities Engages in electrical installation projects and maintenance of existing electrical, electronic, instrumentation and controls, and service equipment. Travel to project sites throughout the region, staying out of town as needed
Requirements:
Valid Journeyman Electrician License (CT or ability to reciprocate)
Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience
Proficiency in conduit bending, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial equipment wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Clean driving record and willingness to travel
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
Preferred:
OSHA 10/30 certification
Experience working in power plants, manufacturing facilities, or large-scale industrial environments
Multi-state license or reciprocity knowledge is a plus

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As our Electrical Journeyman - Licensed Electrician, you'll take the lead on residential and new construction projects-delivering quality, safe, and code-compliant installations and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert electrical services in residential and new construction environments
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of electrical systems and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, job plans, and wiring diagrams
Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs with accuracy
Determine material needs for projects and coordinate orders
