Participate in conducting routine maintenance of electrical systems to ensure they are in proper working condition. This may include supporting troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements. Learn to interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to plan and execute installations accurately. Using testing devices to check the functionality of electrical systems, identify faults, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Participate in inspections as required. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards. Stay updated on local and national electrical codes and regulations. Ensure all work meets the required standards. Interact with clients to understand their electrical needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns. Participate in diagnosing electrical issues and develop effective solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety standards are followed. Maintain accurate records of work performed. Attend training sessions, workshops, and educational classes to enhance skills and knowledge. Travel to job sites in the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana area. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely Education and Experience: Enrollment in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program required Previous experience in electrical, construction or a related field is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Capable of standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods. Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
