Competence in the use of hand and power conduit benders and other tools used for fabricating electrical conduit systems and wireways. Knowledge of basic machine motion components and assembly techniques. Expertise in DC circuits, single and three-phase AC power, and distribution circuits. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wire and wiring diagrams and specifications. Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and JIC Electrical Codes as used in the Special Machine Industry, particularly JIC EMP-1-67 and EGP-1-67. Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in industrial wiring and electrical technician operations or a combination of technical school training plus experience or ability to demonstrate equivalent skill and ability. Training to include the equivalent of one (1) semester technical course in PLC operation and programming or equivalent experience in PLC operations.
