ELECTRICIAN Facilities Services/Electrical Shop Salary Range: $5,998 - $8,737/Monthly (Anticipated hiring salary range $6,250 - $6,667/monthly) Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; non-exempt classification. Essential Functions: Under the general direction of the Supervising Electrician, the incumbent is responsible for the full range of skilled electrical work including the installation, maintenance, modification and repair of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems. Required Qualifications & Experience: Four years of experience in electrical installation and repair work or a combination of progressively responsible training and experience which demonstrates achievement of journey-level skills equivalent to that acquired through completion of a standard electrician's apprenticeship program. Must possess a valid California Driver's License for the operation of any vehicle or equipment they are required to maintain and operate. Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the electrical trade for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems. Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and regulations pertaining to the electrical trade, including the National Electric Code and Electrical Safety Orders of the Division of Industrial Safety of the State of California.
