Position: Showroom Electrician

Summary
Electrical Workers are separated into 4 classifications/categories, namely Entry Level, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. As specified below, said classifications are separated by, among other considerations, skill sets, experience, and proficiency. In general, Electrical Workers are responsible for wiring, assembling, connecting, and testing (specifically not including testing required during the commissioning process) electrical components on railcars under varying levels of supervision (depending on classification) while following drawings, schematics, procedures, and other written documentation, instructions, directives, and protocols. Electrical Workers will also participate in the testing/commissioning portion of the production process by providing support to Commissioning and Functional Engineers, and other high-level engineering and/or technical personnel, as directed, by specifically assisting with wiring for the continuity test, insulation test, and high voltage/potential (hipot) test. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interpreting and using electrical schematics, drawings, process procedures, and other written documentation to prepare materials and tools, and to complete assembly of components;
Sorting, routing, crimping, and terminating wires to electrical components;
Using basic diagnostics tools such as multimeters to test, and trouble-shoot wire connections (not related to commissioning work), as required;
Disassembling and recovering components for testing and commissioning, during the continuity, insulation, and high voltage/potential tests, as directed by Commissioning Engineers and other such specially-skilled personnel;
Trimming and insulating stripped wiring utilizing heat shrink tubing;
Disconnecting and restoring cable shunts and relevant tooling;
Completing paperwork, such as quality confirmation forms, as required in the process;
Following all safety protocols, and company policies and procedures;

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their team. You will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex electrical systems across a high-volume production facility. You will work with a team of professionals committed to safety, precision, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, controls, and instrumentation.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using computerized systems.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and control circuits.
Ensure compliance with NEC standards and internal safety protocols.
Maintain accurate service records in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Respond to routine and emergency maintenance calls with professionalism and urgency.
Technical Competencies:
Must have proficiency in:
AC/DC theory and electrical maintenance.
Digital and analog electronics.
PLC systems and test instruments.
Power distribution and installation.
Mechanical systems and hand/power tools.
Electrical schematics and print reading.
Qualifications and Skills:
2+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience (4,000+ hours preferred).
Demonstrated competency in preventative, predictive and computerized electrical maintenance management systems.
Inspection and identification and knowledge of all electrical distribution systems (12 to 5K volts).
Compensation Range: $35.00hr-$41.50/hr + Overtime
Work Schedule:
Overtime Expected: 5-10 hours a week
Position is primarily on 1st shift, but must be flexible to work on a team that takes turns working an alternate shift as needed to support the business needs

JOB SUMMARY
An apprentice will assist lead electricians in the completion of all jobs while gathering crucial experience for their career. Apprentice electricians obtain knowledge from our experienced team, learn new problem-solving skills, and gain the hands-on experience needed.
JOB DUTIES
Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial electrical equipment.
Determine the general condition of all electrical equipment, troubleshoot electrical mysteries, and decipher the extent of necessary repairs.
Identify the proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to accurately present repair or installation options.
Complete safety inspections. Your mission: to ensure everyone is safe from electrical issues.
