Will work on various electrical or mechanical projects throughout the plant (i.e., installing phone lines, repairing circuit boards, wiring, etc.)
Must know the Nation Electrical Code and be familiar with OSHA electrical requirements in order to ensure the safety of all equipment and operator. Must follow all company established safety guidelines.

The training program is a compilation of education, culture, ideas, and current training programs that exist throughout Nucor. Responsibilities will include hands on assignments working with experienced Nucor Maintenance Team Members while maintaining a 3.0 or better grade point average.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Utilities Electrician needed at The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN. Responsibility to electrically troubleshoot and repair complex domestic and foreign machines and related equipment. Applicant must possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC and relay logic-controlled machines.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Examples of related equipment to be repaired: P&H cranes and hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and other equipment in a large industrial Assembly environment.
Examples of machine controllers to be repaired: PLC equipment with Siemens, Allen Bradley, and a variety of other controllers on the machines in Assembly.
