Essential Duties * Work safely and efficiently and wear the required PPE/Arc Flash safety items for each particular job, must follow all plant safety procedures for electrical work. * Must be able to demonstrate good follow-up procedures and demonstrate the ability to perform critical checks in an appropriate manner. * Capable of learning the responsibilities for day to day maintenance and troubleshooting of all plant equipment. * Capable of learning to analyze and recommend repair procedures for equipment failures and demonstrating mechanical insight in recommending options. * Help with breakdowns on both lines. * Train to help production Start-up and shut-down equipment. * Capable of learning to Identify and locate electrical parts. * Complete work orders as assigned by Supervisor. * Capable of requisitioning electrical machine parts pulled from the maintenance storerooms. * Assist supervisor on following up or expediting vender parts. * Perform other duties as assigned Under This Roof We Require: * H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience Required * 3+ years of plant specific maintenance experience * Electrical/Mechanical certification * Computer software and personal computers is required * Safe forklift operation is mandatory * Required to assure the work area remains clean and orderly.
