Job Description

This position frequently works aerially from a ladder, lift bucket, and pole-climbing tools to remove/replace/repair equipment. Successful candidate must climb utility poles and other structures. Maintain consistent communication with co-workers and management regarding electrical and maintenance issues.
Proactively review equipment performance, address issues, and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and operating costs.
Support and adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies; respond to repair or modification requests from the Safety Committee or Safety Manager.
Assist with additional plant operations duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minium of three years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and documentation.
Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, noisy, industrial environment.
Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to 12 hours per day.
Willing and able to pull and lift to 50 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY
This position performs and coordinates the installation and service of electrical products and services in a residential and light commercial setting.
JOB DUTIES
Installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and services
Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, can troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs
Works with and understands blueprints, electrical schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft
Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects
Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide, accurately present repair or installation options, and complete safety inspections
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of residential electrician experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Background check and drug screening
Clean driving record
