Electrical Service Journeyman ABOUT US: Small electrical contractor based out of Downtown Riverside who installs new electrical systems and repairs existing electrical systems for both residential and commercial customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, repair, maintain, and test residential and commercial electrical systems in full support of safety, operations and productivity initiatives.
Use industry related hand tools and power tools.
Measure, cut, bend, thread and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems as well as other wire raceway systems, etc.
Feed to, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control
Maintain workflow schedule to ensure objectives are met.
Communicate effectively
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers, vendors and colleagues.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
License Electrician
Ability to install power systems: lighting, fire protection, security, and data network.
Ability to build and install control panels and provide maintenance to systems.
Experience finding and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May require the ability to do the following
:· Lift 50 lbs. from ground and pull 50 lbs. of force.· Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling.

Responsibilities and Duties
Daily job duties and responsibilities vary by location but mainly consist of electrical troubleshooting, light fixture installation/repairs, new electrical circuits, breaker/panel repair, Switch Gear repair/Upgrades and lighting control repair/upgrades. All applicants must have the drive and mindset to grow professionally as well as personally. These individuals must be self starters that can manage service/bucket truck inventory, paperwork and time.
