Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on peanut processing equipment, including shellers, dryers, conveyors, roasters, and sorting machines.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in processing systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce machine wear and improve operational efficiency.
Inspect and replace worn or damaged components, such as bearings, belts, motors, and seals.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and food safety regulations (GMPs, HACCP, FSMA).
Assist in the installation and calibration of new processing equipment.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, including parts inventory and completed repairs.
Respond to emergency breakdowns, including after-hours or weekend work as needed.
Qualifications:

Job Summary:
Roaming Maintenance Techs within Fairway Management play a key role in the organization by providing support at a regional level and filling in to perform routine maintenance duties including rough carpentry, painting and basic equipment or facility repairs, training, and preparation for state, and investor inspections. Job Summary:
These exceptionally driven professionals are essential to the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, enabling them to be places our residents are proud to live.
We are looking for dynamic professionals who are punctual, professional, and proactive. Arriving at work on time, possessing strong time management skills, providing our residents with enthusiastic service while completing work orders, and having a keen eye for detail to catch small issues before they become big come together in this rewarding role.
A non-extensive list of maintenance skills used in this role includes drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, general building maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete daily resident work orders.
Be available for on call after hours.
Must have applicable maintenance tools.
Conduct unit turns in a timely manner including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
Preform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
Must be able to lift up to 55lbs.
Must be able to work in enclosed spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Must be willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
Must be able to pick up supplies from area vendors as needed while legally operating a registered and properly insured vehicle.
Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
Travel to, and participate in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
Be alert to any emergencies, suspicious persons or events and notify appropriate staff.
Assist with maintaining exceptional curb appeal.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and other staff members.
Make the manager aware of any health and safety concerns on site.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or the equivalent
Experience:
2 to 3 years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
Preferred experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, general building maintenance
HVAC EPA Type I & II Certification
