The Role The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and new installations of facilities, electrical systems and production equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities Maintaining, repairing, and installing building related electrical services and systems. Responding to emergency calls after hours when required. Must be able to lift 35+ lbs. Must be able to work from heights. Must have a current driver's license. Required Qualifications H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade. Current Journeyman or Master Electrician, Licensed in MA. Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment, including wiring methods, distribution equipment, motors and transformers, control centers, and generators. Utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System for the administration of PM work orders and work requests, including updating schedules, procedures, and tasks. Supporting Facilities team members as needed for projects within other manufacturing departments. Assisting with maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. Following all related company safety requirements such as but not limited to; lock out/tag out, electrical safety, compressed gas, working from heights, and proper selection and use of personal protective equipment. Responding to emergency calls after hours when required. Must be able to lift 35+ lbs. Must be able to work from heights. Must have a current driver's license. Required Qualifications H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade. Current Journeyman or Master Electrician, Licensed in MA. Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment, including wiring methods, distribution equipment, motors and transformers, control centers, and generators. Working knowledge of electrical/electronic controls, pumps, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with machine guarding systems, safety controls, and interlocks.
