Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures. Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES Install, maintain, replace and/or repair various electrical/mechanical components and equipment; (i.e., pumps, motors, gates, blowers, meters, switches, transformers, fans, belts, compressors, valves, lines, etc.) Inspects and evaluates equipment to provide recommendations concerning maintenance and repair needs. Performs preventive maintenance on machinery and components according to assigned schedules. Fabricates with welding, brazing and cutting torches. Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical and manual control systems. Inspection of mechanical equipment in the well fields. Operates various hand-held gas and electrically powered tools. Provides preventive maintenance to machinery and equipment through cleaning, lubrication and calibration. Performs minor repair, clean-up or other in-house projects as assigned. Safeguards all assigned tools, equipment and electronics from theft, loss, destruction and/or negligence. Ensures assigned vehicles and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
