What you'll be doing:
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required.
Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures.
Performing basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.

Job Summary:
The Tooling Electrician III is responsible for inventorying, inspecting, testing, and timely completion of generator toolkits required for site project requests. Updates project schedules as appropriate when toolkits are complete and have passed inspection.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain housekeeping of warehouse to meet safety standards and follow all safety guidelines
Perform visual, electrical, mechanical, electronic inspection of tools, report and flag any non-compliant items
Test all generator components on large electrical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair damaged electrical components and equipment as well as preventative maintenance
Read line drawings for repair and troubleshooting activities and electrical codes
Follow Standard Maintenance Protocols, tasks and adhere to site safety, quality, company, and government requirements
Repair and maintain test and industrial equipment and perform quality hand solder repair to the board or component level
Willingness to be on call for emergency equipment troubleshooting
Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that each generator toolkit has the proper tools needed.
Coordinate, label, and package all generator tooling needed for each outage project.
Quality assurance check each kit before shipping to make sure there is a kit template and a calibration certificate enclosed if necessary.
Timely completion of kit assembly to meet tool center schedule requirements
Ensure that kits are delivered with no quality issues (missing parts or non-working parts).
Review inventory of tools returned from site to ensure all items are accounted for as outlined in inventory sheets
Clean, reorganize, and relabel all returned toolkits
Create and submit restock requests for replacement parts and tools.
Complete required, annual safety training
Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and performance of large production machinery and related systems. Strong communication skills are essential. Responsibilities include maintaining manufacturing machines, support equipment, electrical and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
Knowledg of industrial electrical systems including 277v & 480v.
Maintenance and electrical experience
General mechanical aptitude
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, safety protocols, and technical manuals.
Forklift certification (preferred)
NFPA 70E certification (a plus)
Primary Responsibilities
Perform electrical duties which can include new machine install and running conduit and wiring.
Execute timely and efficient machine repairs
Maintain clean and organized shop areas, inventory, tools, and supplies
Able to work with tools, pneumatics, plumbing, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Uphold 5S principles to ensure cleanliness and organization
Support mechanical system maintenance and troubleshooting
Comply with company safety and HESS policies
Assist with facility maintenance duties, perform other related duties as assigned
Physical Demands
Employees must be able to:
Stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for extended periods (up to 3 hours per 10-hour shift)
Lift up to 25 pounds from floor to chest height
Reach over and around equipment as needed
Raise hands above shoulder height repeatedly
Safely use ladders

Plant Electrician
Electrician technician job in Maricopa, AZ
Under general supervision of the Water Operations Manager, the Plant Electrician is responsible for performing skilled level electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade. This position may be assigned to shop or field installation tasks. This position may require to be on-call after hours, holidays, and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
A high school Diploma or GED equivalent and completion of a recognized four year electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training; or three years of experience as a skilled controls electrician; Or any other combination of experience, training and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Knowledge of NFPA70E is required. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and be able to meet the Community's insurance carrier requirements. Must successfully complete a background check
Examples of Duties:
Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage (i.e., wall electrical outlets, air distribution systems, pumps, transformers, motors, and appliances);
Maintains and repairs equipment used in 24-hour operations;
Installs control systems and devices;
Installs and maintains motors of several hundred horsepower, coils, transformers, and control equipment of up to 480 volts;
Documents information on preventive maintenance file petaining to electrical equipment and machinery and monitors a preventive maintenance program;
Installs and maintains water pumps and booster stations consisting of various horsepower, from functional to several horsepower;
Installs and maintains transformers, substations, and related control equipment (motors, generators, pumps, blowers, air compressors, etc.);
Installs, maintains, and repairs series and multiple lighting systems at wastewater and water treatment facilities;
Draws circuits on a one line diagram for controls;
Designs functional electric circuitry for electrical systems;
Operates earth moving equipment, aerial equipment, and pneumatic equipment in the installation and repair of electrical equipment;
Provides on-the-job training for staff members in skills of the electrical trade;
Responds to customer inquiries or complaints;
Acts as a "on-call" electrician for responding to emergency calls after normal working hours;
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of Electrical construction and maintenance, including installation of all sizes of electrical conduit, cables, wires, switches, automatic starting equipment, and pole line construction.
Knowledge of Occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions.
Knowledge and understanding of current NFPA codes and the National Electric Code.
Knowledge of NFPA70E is required
Must have skill in the care and use of hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various electrical repair tasks such as hickeys, volt meters, wiggins, meggars, and VOM's.
Skill in locating and adjusting defects in electrical systems and equipment.
Skill in the operation of earth moving equipment, aerial equipment, and pneumatic equipment.
Ability to distinguish between the full range of colors in the color spectrum to work with electrical wires.
Ability to use graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs for a long distance of more than 20 feet.
Ability to make precise arm-hand positioning movements (i.e., operates an electric hand drill); to physically lift arms above shoulder level to work in ceiling areas, on light fixtures; must be able to work in small, cramped areas such as ceiling crawl spaces, equipment enclosures, closets.
Ability to work at heights greater than ten feet.
Ability in making mathematical computations.
Ability to exercise independent thought and action within the scope of specific assignments.
Ability to comprehend and make inferences from written materials.
Ability to measure distances with a tape measure or other measuring device.
Ability to climb ladders or steps to reach work areas.
Must have the ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time.
Ability to travel across rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A shift differential will be provided. This position is responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. (S)he will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Essential Duties:
* Repair and maintain a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance on distribution center and/or manufacturing equipment
* Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot, analyze and predict upcoming failures
* Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
* Operate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, milling machines, punch presses, and drive presses to fabricate housings, fittings, jogs and fixtures
* Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems
* Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts
* Other duties as assigned.

* High School Diploma or GED preferred
* 1+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience or experience in a related field
* Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems
