Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Efficiently perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment, and grounds in compliance with standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety policies as enforced by OSHA.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment during the production process as needed.
Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Effectively perform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment.
Perform troubleshooting of equipment, including both electrical and mechanical systems.
Complete and update work orders using in-house systems.
Complete and maintain routine and preventive records and logs.
Works closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining quality.
Perform buildings and grounds maintenance/up-keep as needed.
Maintain a working knowledge of all plant area processes.
Accurately read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

Qualifications:
Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Technical school coursework/Degree in boiler (not LSC), welding, electrical, HVAC maintenance preferred.
Experience Required:
Minimum two (2) years of maintenance/repair experience in a manufacturing environment required.

What this job involves:
The Maintenance Electrician is a multi-functional technician responsible for effectively maintaining building systems and infrastructure in optimal condition.
Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration, material handling and conveyance systems, robotics; walls and flooring; installed fixtures; roofing systems; lighting, etc.
Executes equipment inspection and monitoring programs; defines and implements maintenance best practices to improve overall mechanical equipment uptime
Continuously evaluates current maintenance, operations and reliability methods and implements changes to enhance effectiveness at increasing value-maximizing performance.
Leads, trains, and supports maintenance team members as needed to develop individuals' skills and expand team capabilities.
Demonstrates flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.
Moves throughout the facility extensively during shift to attend equipment and team members as needed.
Essential functions include performing preventive maintenance, repair, and other technical activities.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Building electrical systems, including power distribution and critical power systems such as UPS and generators.
HVAC systems, including determining the frequency of PM and repair, reviewing logs as necessary, and escalating any problems or malfunctions with refrigeration, water cooling and air conditioning equipment; boilers, heating, ventilating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters; and related mechanical and electrical equipment.
MHE (Material Handling Equipment), and Robotics, including electrical aspects of highly automated conveyor systems, to support a "One Team" environment that transcends electrical and mechanical responsibilities.
In addition, this position:
Ensures the availability of an adequate inventory of tools and other supplies to operate the building, including preparing and submitting purchase orders requests, developing sources for stock materials, and performing periodic checks of inventory levels and equipment conditions.
Oversees the activities of contractors working within the building either as representatives of the building itself or tenants.
Identifies safety hazards within the building and escalates remediation to ensure the building's staff and occupants work in a safe environment.
Ensures compliance with regulatory laws and guidelines related to the operation of the building's infrastructure. Alerts management to discrepancies.
Maintains all building infrastructure and compliance documentation including up-to-date building drawings and single lines as well as documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State or Local law.
Ensure that the CFWA (Critical Facility Work Authorization) is a well-understood process among the building staff, engineers, tenants, and contractors who perform work on the building's critical infrastructure.
Demonstrates the proper use and care of tools and instruments, giving hands on instruction in basic maintenance, safety and troubleshooting procedures, recommending relevant outside engineering courses for enrolment, and instilling an overall level of professionalism in manner and appearance.

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with industrial electrical or facility maintenance.
State journeyman electrician license and requirement to keep it active for duration of employment.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

All Energy Solar is seeking a full-time Journeyworker Service Electrician to join our team. The Journeyworker Service Electrician will cooperate with installation crews as well as perform the necessary tasks required to ensure the safe and successful operation of residential and commercial solar electric and storage systems. The work generally consists of indoor work, outdoor ground-level work, and minimal roof work.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Install grid tied solar electric systems (primarily assigned to servicing of these systems)
Install or service battery backup hybrid solar systems and EV Chargers (Tesla, Enphase, etc.).
Provide service upgrades.
Install, test, and confirm solar system monitoring.
Complete all work to current NEC codes.
Perform commissioning and attend shutdowns and inspections as needed.
Take responsibility for personal and electrical safety on the job site by following and enforcing all safety regulations.
Adherence and compliance to all safety activities and requirements.

Skills/Qualifications
Required: Current Minnesota Journeyman / Journeyworker / Journeyperson Electrician license.

In depth knowledge and experience in electrical installations.
Proficient 2023 NEC code knowledge.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, licensed in the State of Minnesota, journeyman electrician to join our expanding industrial electrical team. The journeyman electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, wiring, and installing electrical related components and fixtures for complex industrial machines and our Minnetonka manufacturing facility in accordance with relevant safety codes and safety procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical related assets and complex industrial machines within the plant (including but not limited to machines, light fixtures, and phone lines) using hand and power tools (including but not limited to wrenches, voltmeter, and electric drivers).
● Read wiring diagrams in order to wire or rewire electrical components (including but not limited to PLCs, breakers, and switches) to machines and parts.
● Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical related assets within the plant at scheduled
times by rewiring, replacing electrical parts, testing for proper function, and working with operators.
● Program various components including but not limited to PLCs, ladder logic, and control circuits to change or update functionality on machines.
● Wire, install electrical components, program, and test new machines using hand and power tools (including but not limited to wrenches, voltmeter, and electric drivers).
● Upgrade existing machines by installing electrical components, programming existing machines, and testing functionality using hand a power tools (including but not limited to wrenches, voltmeter, and electric drivers).
● Climb, crawl, and maneuver into various awkward or difficult to reach areas in order to wire parts, replace parts, or preform preventative maintenance on machines.
● Organize and clean the work area by removing trash, sweeping, and returning tools and equipment to the proper location.
● Prepare electrical maintenance reports regarding work performed and document in a proprietary computer software system.
● Operate machinery including but not limited to booms, scissor lifts, and fork trucks.
● Design blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for new equipment or equipment upgrades.
● Communicate with team members and various other departments to provide recommendations, maintain work continuity, and provide assistance as necessary.
● Bend, pull, and install conduit and associated wiring throughout the entire manufacturing plant.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
● Knowledge of the EHS life critical systems and the lock out tag out safety system.
● Knowledge of basic computer functions and usage.
● Knowledge of mechanical and electrical comprehension including but not limited to pneumatics, hydraulics, and brakes.
● Knowledge of PLC, ladder logic, control circuits, Motors and process instrumentation function, installation, and repair.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints or wiring diagrams in order to assemble electrical equipment and repair components.
● Ability to interpret measurements from calibers, rulers, and other measuring instruments.
Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $32-$36/hour USD
This shift can be Wednesday through Sunday OR Thursday through Monday - the working hours will be 2pm to 10pm- there is a .75 cent shift differential as well as a $1 per hour adder for working both weekend days.
