Maintains and installs communication cables, power distribution cables and wiring, and performs splicing as required. Fabricates parts as required using machine and hand tools common to trade. Informs supervisor and Machine Operators of potentially dangerous electrical equipment and corrective actions taken. Advises operators and line mechanics of standard operating procedures and requirements for working safely with electronic equipment and components as required. Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for electronic and electrical equipment. May provide technical direction to electricians and/or other maintenance staff as required. Notifies supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards. Performs other jobs and tasks as required. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Industrial Manufacturing experience, 5+ years. Minimum 5 years' experience with troubleshooting 480-volt three phase system, PLC, PCB boards and industrial motor drives. High school diploma and or equivalent. (Appropriate Technical education/training preferred). Extensive background in computer aided drafting. Extensive technical knowledge of electronics.
