Primary Purpose of Position The Journeyman Electrical Service Technician/Sr. Journeyman Electrical Service Technician is responsible for performing residential electrical service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including service panels, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment logs. Monitor parts inventory and request supplies as needed. Continuous Improvement Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend equipment upgrades or process improvements. Support implementation of reliability-centered maintenance strategies. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Welding (with a stick or mig), fabrication, or refrigeration certifications are a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures and conditions. Flexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, or respond to emergencies as needed. Ideal Candidate Will Be: A hands-on problem solver with attention to detail.
