Perform Safeguard techniques and document changes made to programs to prevent inadvertent loading of obsolete programs or complete loss from corrupted memory or files. Ensure all systems have secure protection protocols consistent with BlueScope standards.
Month-end reporting. Compile data for key maintenance performance indicators. Make recommendations for improvements based on data.
Assist with all safety issues related to production and ensure that safety goals are achieved. They are engaging associates in all aspects of safety, meetings, conversations, and incident reporting.
Create, evaluate, and revise preventive maintenance procedures that drive a reduction in unscheduled downtime, and increase reliability/predictability and consistent quality performance.
Minimum:
Allen and Bradley RS Logix 5000 certification plus 1 year of Directly Programming (no assisting others) or 4 years solo programming and commissioning on multiple platforms.
Must be able to perform mathematical equations to program PLC such as slope, strip weight tension, coil diameter increase, and RPM to Feet per minute and scaling.
Maintain the ability to wear a respirator

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic issues to ensure test and manufacturing equipment is operating according to requirements and specifications; some of the equipment includes manual test stations, case erectors, stretch wrappers, industrial robots, scanners, automated test stations, among others
+ Perform test station assembly and deployment; debug and troubleshoot equipment after assembly to ensure proper operation
+ Interact with a proactive attitude and customer mindset when working with production associates, supervisors, engineers, and coworkers from other areas or departments
+ Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications and work orders to determine materials requirements or troubleshooting instructions or ensure compliance
+ Assist other groups (IT, Maintenance, Facilities, Production) as required or instructed by supervisor
+ Collect data to prepare time studies, reports, work instructions, visual aids, flowcharts and be able to submit recommendations for change
+ Assist with special engineering projects such as new product introduction, layout and/or process changes
+ Equipment repair and setup; basic data analysis

**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education & Experience:**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Associates Degree in electronics, machinist, mechatronics, mechanical or Technical school or service training beyond high school preferred
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Physical ability to lift and move production equipment such as benches, racks, carts, cabling and computers
+ Familiarity with 5S, TPM and other Lean Manufacturing techniques
+ Ability to perform daily duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Sequence of Events (SOE) and other related documentation
+ Working knowledge and experience with the use of power tools, installing warehouse racking, drill press, pedestal grinder, and table saw
+ Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferable
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instructional emails
+ Must know how to use a computer (Windows environment); knowledge of Microsoft Suite/Google suite
+ Good communication skills, detail-oriented with good organizational skills
+ Be able to work on specific items with little to no supervision as well as being part of a crew or team
+ Experience working with a Maintenance management system such as SAP-Maintenance or Mpulse
+ Ability to prioritize between multiple tasks and/or projects
+ Advanced skill set using maintenance tooling and equipment
+ Advanced skill set at troubleshooting equipment
+ Skilled in PLC, networking, computers, and pneumatics
**Scheduled Weekly Hours:**
Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Compensation: $24.22/Hour - $27.85/Hour

What You Will Be Doing:
As the Industrial Electrician you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.
Primary Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
Wiring AC & DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
Interpret current NEC codes
Interpret shop drawings
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
