We are seeking an experienced licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our integrated facilities management team for our client portfolio.
What this job involves:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a comprehensive electrical program across multiple sites including data centers, laboratories, manufacturing plants, and general office space. This position will be servicing multiple locations in the MetroWest area across several different buildings.

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage electrical systems in data centers, labs, manufacturing facilities, and general building requests Oversee and coordinate with vendors for maintenance of:
Generators
UPS systems
Substations
Electrical panels
- Develop and manage a comprehensive electrical program, including:
Arc flash studies
Infrared scanning
Preventive maintenance schedules
- Respond to and resolve electrical inquiries and issues across all facilities
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations - Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute electrical projects
- Participate in on-call rotation to address emergency situations
- Work with different business units on requests Assisting and providing data with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) audits as required
- Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Capable of standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Massachusetts Journeyman license
Eight (8)+ years of experience as a licensed electrician
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems in data centers, laboratories, and manufacturing environments
Proven experience managing vendors and contractors
Strong understanding of arc flash studies and infrared scanning techniques
Familiarity with UPS systems, generators, and substation operations
Experience developing and managing electrical maintenance programs
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, software, and building management systems
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and drawings
Willingness to be on-call and respond to after-hours emergencies
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Hands on Electrical Thermography Infrared inspection experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

MagLev Aero is seeking an electromechanical technician to help build its electric propulsion thruster system prototypes. In this role, you will fabricate and test electromagnetic assemblies, wire harnesses, and mechanical test equipment. You will also perform mechanical and electronics rework, calibrate sensors, and take quality assurance measurements. You will work alongside our engineering team on-site and your craftsmanship will be a key contribution to the success of this project.
Location: This is an on-site position at MagLev Aero's office located in Boston's Seaport District.
Expected Responsibilities:
Create and test wire harnesses in accordance with drawings or detailed descriptions.
Assemble, rework, and test printed circuit boards from a schematic.
Wind and pot coils and other electromagnetic assemblies from drawings.
Refine existing processes for better throughput or superior performance.
Assemble electro-mechanical test fixtures and test articles.
Perform quality measurements on parts and systems.
Qualifications
Desired Skills:
Prior experience building harnesses: stripping, crimping, and bundling. Prior experience winding coils desirable.
Prior soldering experience. Experience with hot air tools is desirable.
Comfortable using basic electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, isolation testers) in a prototyping environment.
Able to understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience with 3D drafting tools (e.g. Solidworks, Fusion, NX) is a plus, as is electrical drafting (e.g. OrCAD, Altium, VeSys, Solidworks Electrical)
Comfortable around high voltage, electrical power systems, and chemical solvents. Prior high voltage experience is desirable but not required.
Attention to detail. Able to make precise measurements using calipers and micrometers.
Able to lift at least twenty-five pounds and stand for periods of 30 minutes.
Proficient with hand and power tools. Familiar with basic machine shop tools (e.g. band saw, drill press). Experience with lathes/machining (CNC) is desirable but not required.
Experience with 3D printing is desirable.
Able to work independently from a set of tasks. Interested in process improvement.
A few years of hands-on experience in a related area (aerospace, automotive, job shop, university lab) is desirable.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the onsite maintenance and repairs to facilities owned or under control of Heywood Healthcare. This position will interact with onsite staff and vendors working on projects that have been assigned by the Facilities Department. This position is expected to maintain high personal and professional standards as well as complying with all Massachusetts rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing and general repairs in a professional manner as directed.
Shares knowledge and expertise to help others improve performance
Keeps customers, staff, manager, and other departments informed of deadlines and changes.
Completes corrective work orders each quarter
Completes preventive maintenance that is assigned each month in a timely manner
Maintains a less than 5% call back rate on all work orders
Completes and submits requisitions, including costs of supplies, to the supervisor.
Performs snow removal duties as assigned.
Responds appropriately to utility failures
Will be required to perform duties at out buildings off the main campus
This position is considered "essential staff" and will be required at times during emergency situations to report to or remain on campus.
Participates in rotational "on call" schedule to respond to campus(s) for any facility related emergency/emergencies.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
Three to Five years in general repairs or
5 years minimum experience in the carpentry field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Licenses/Certifications
Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation required
State of MA Construction License is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently kneels (bending the legs at knee to come to rest on knee or knees), reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction), and feels (perceiving attributes of items as size, shape, temperature, or texture by means of fingertips).
