Job DescriptionDescription: Purpose: The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all ready-mix concrete plants, precast equipment, and related plant structures. This role requires expertise in preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The technician also serves as a coach and resource to plant managers, promoting safety and operational excellence. Essential Functions: Maintain full compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring both personal and team adherence. Consistently use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Address safety-related issues immediately with supervisor or plant managers. Complete all assigned safety training within required timeframes. Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on wet batch and central batch ready-mix plants, precast equipment, and plant-related structures. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Inspect plant machinery, recommend and perform necessary repairs.
