What you'll be doing:
Troubleshoot sources of equipment problems through observation and use of precision measuring and testing instruments.
Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and associated control systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, record results in logbooks / computer systems and make necessary chemical adjustments as required.
Perform daily and weekly safety checks on boilers and make necessary repairs as required.
Inspect motor, belts, fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions in accordance with maintenance procedures.
Performing basic welding activities to effect repairs on facilities and equipment.
Inspect, clean and lubricate shafts, bearings gears and other equipment parts in accordance with work procedures and technical manual.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills is required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, dock equipment, compactors, fire suppression sensors, solenoids, switches, starters, relays, and other plant assets\.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, perform root cause analysis, and execute repairs while observing NEC/NFPA compliance and hot work permits\.
- Calculate load requirements, voltage drops, and motor winding adjustments using strong math skills and electrical formulas\.
- Conduct testing and verification of repaired systems, documenting results in maintenance tracking systems\.
- Coordinate with the Facility Services team to prioritize work requests, schedule outages, and communicate status to stakeholders\.
- Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and work safely with live voltages up to 600 V\.
- Provide coverage on 1st or 2nd shift as needed under the Lockheed Martin UAW collective bargaining agreement\.

We are seeking a Industrial Maintenance Electrician Technician (FIRST SHIFT) to join our team! You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, performing routine maintenance, fixing any faulty wiring, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Work is performed in a production environment which requires exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, working around moving equipment, vibrations, dust, etc. Working hours will be a set schedule but must be flexible with working extended hours when required.
Responsibilities:
Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion by analyzing test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. This includes recording parts and materials used.
Perform mechanical skills including and not limited to PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Ensure the safety needs are given a to priority in operations support and work execution. Some examples are Confined Space Entry, LOTO, Hand Tool Safety Use, etc.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, or AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred.
3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience
AC Motors, Electrical Panels, Power Distribution, and VFD's experience preferred.
Experience with Industrial Manufacturing, injection molding, industrial tools, and equipment.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Must read and understand schematics, drawings and diagrams.
Must be dependable, punctual and have a good attendance record.
Ability to understand and communicate instructions in English.

Qualifications
Relevant experience working as an electrician
(residential strongly preferred)
Must have 3 to 5 years minimum of electrical service experience

General Job Duties:
Maintain and/or construct all structures and substation equipment as directed.
Install and/or maintain substation equipment with the aid of electrical prints and manufacturer's instruction books.
During installation, periodic maintenance, or callouts, trouble shoot and correct malfunctions of all substation equipment.
Instruct subordinate personnel in the prescribed company procedures and operations of all equipment.

Must possess a state issued class A CDL license with the ability to obtain a Florida class A CDL in 6 months .

Experience with switching and tagging requirements.
This position requires successful completion of the Construction and Skilled Trades Test (CAST)
