This role is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and basic maintenance of the Course & Grounds facilities and equipment fleet. The Facilities & Equipment Care Technician ensures that the maintenance compound, shop, and machinery are kept in excellent condition, contributing to a safe, professional, and efficient workplace. Primary?Responsibilities: Clean, organize, and maintain the golf course maintenance compound and shop areas. Wash, detail, and refuel turf equipment daily to ensure a professional appearance. Assist the Fleet Manager with routine equipment care (blowing, vacuuming, degreasing, pressure washing). Monitor facility cleanliness, including workspaces, storage areas, and staff areas. Perform light facility repairs (painting, basic carpentry, minor fixes). Help manage waste and recycling programs for the maintenance compound. Support the Grounds and Fleet teams during special projects and tournaments. Follow all safety protocols and report issues promptly. Qualifications: Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to safely operate pressure washers, hoses, small tools, and utility vehicles. Willingness to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Previous custodial, detailing, or equipment washing experience preferred but not required. Valid driver's license required. Clean dumpster areas and make sure the gates are closed when not in active use. Ensure that rain gutters are free of debris. Repair washers and dryers as needed, or notify the Property Manager to contact an outside repair vendor. Repair and change locks as needed, and manage tenant lockouts. Unlock and lock the driveway gates per the approved schedule, for sites with security gates. Work within the approved budget for each site in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Other tasks as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Act as a leader among technicians. Proactively address issues and identify large projects; make recommendations to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager. Work with Maintenance Supervisors and Property Managers to determine scopes of work. At the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, work with vendors to obtain bids and estimates for large projects. At the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, work with routine vendors to develop contracts. Accompany Property Manager on inspections with investors and regulatory agencies; work with the Property Manager to prepare responses to inspections. As necessary, provide direction to Maintenance Technician I. Requirements Intermediate construction or building maintenance knowledge required. Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency required. Ability to operate light equipment and hand tools used in maintenance and repair required. Job Description: A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the property facilities, including guest rooms, cottages, RV sites, public amenity areas, and business offices. They are skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, locksmithing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Duties include responding to guest requests, repairing breaks, maintaining inventory, and preventative maintenance. Requirements: The Maintenance Technician must have the ability to install, service, replace, and repair the following items in a responsible and professional manner that meets company standards. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: Wall molding, caulking, and drywall damage Skilled with a variety of hand and power tools Counter tops and cabinets Window Screens, runners, stripping, curtain bars, and blinds Irrigation systems Interior and exterior doors Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches and fuses Light Fixtures HVAC systems Appliances such as stoves, and refrigerators, washers, and dryers Toilets, sinks, vanities and disposals Pest Control and removal Fencing Gutters down spouts and connecting hoses Cleaning drains and sewer lines up to 4” Must be able to operate a golf cart Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record Accurate, attention to detail, problem solving skills, service oriented Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with other employees and guests on the property.
