About the Role As a Maintenance Technician/Electrician at Kalmbach Feeds, you will be responsible for keeping our feed manufacturing equipment and facilities in top working order. Other Duties * Support plant safety by maintaining a safe work environment. * Gather and transport project materials, parts, and tools. * Perform corrective maintenance and other duties as needed. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related trade preferred. * Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (5 years preferred). * Demonstrated experience in both mechanical and electrical trades. * Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (required). * Full understanding of 3-phase electric. * Ability to read and interpret electrical prints. * Basic welding experience. * State of Ohio boiler certification preferred. * Valid driver's license with no suspensions. * Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, work on raised platforms, and operate in dusty or outdoor environments. * Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and variable shifts. * Ability to wear a full-face respirator and pass pulmonary testing. * Demonstrated sense of urgency, strong problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities. The Maintenance Electrican is responsible for all support operations pertaining to the usage and maintenance of equipment delivered at customer sites. They are the customer interface for HWX's on-site activities; they have strong communication and client service skills. They apply knowledge of electrical/electronics, PLC, pneumatic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restores equipment to operation.
