The SUB AIT program supports the In-Service Attack Submarines Program Office (PMS 392) under Program Executive Office Attack Submarines (PEO SSN) to achieve optimal submarine operational readiness by providing /production support, component repairs and technical support to accomplish repair, maintenance, removal/installation, troubleshooting and associated testing for Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) submarine maintenance availabilities.
The efforts associated with this program will help restore and maintain the material condition and modernization of the fast attack submarines of the United State Navy.
Requirements
2+ years' experience performing repair work on nuclear submarines within the trade they are being assigned.
HS/GED
Must be US Citizen.
Confidential Security Clearance or higher level required.
Personnel shall have at least 2+ years' experience performing repair work on nuclear submarines within the trade they are being assigned.
Personnel shall have DOW type “final” security clearance (DISCO authority with a minimum of a confidential clearance status).
At a minimum, all personnel shall be United States citizens and shall possess a final favorable adjudicated tier 3 investigation. Contractor personnel must have a Department of War Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) at the confidential level or higher.
Marine Electricians Non-Nuclear Electrical Work (TSD EW): Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot and test various electrical and electronics systems, circuits, controls, instruments and equipment. Also includes installation of wire ways and cabling.
Marine Electricians Generator/Motor Repair, Electrical (TSD E4): Shop work such as disassembly, inspection, test, cleaning, varnishing, baking, and reassembly, and shipboard investigate/repair generators, motors, and transformers electrical component.
Marine Electricians Topside Electrical Work (TSD TZ): Remove, Disassemble, inspect, repair, adjust, test, and install external electrical systems cabling in tanks, voids, and sails. Includes installation of hull fittings, penetrators, and tank level indicators.

Provide daily reports to Construction Managers on progress and goals using appropriate forms and communication pathways.
Alert CSG managers and Human Resources of any potential personnel conflicts on site.
Plan the workflow of crews on site which can include scheduling with sub-contractors who may also be working on site.
Accurately manage and input employee timecards.
Provide daily reports to the Foreman on progress and goals using appropriate forms and communication pathways.
Administers the inventory, proper use, and maintenance of company issued tools.
Administers the receiving of material shipments to include safe unloading, checking material to Bill of Lading or Invoice, and maintaining paperwork in office.
Follow NES and OSHA safety regulations and provided safety training.
Provide on-the-job training to apprentice electricians.
Ensure quality of workmanship meets or exceeds minimum industry standards.
Arrive punctually to work and diligently perform the duties and tasks assigned.
Open the site in the morning and close the site at end of day or have 1 designated site person to perform this function. This includes:
Set up daily JHA sheets.
Ensure time is entered into Procore daily, is accurate, and is signed off by all field crew for which the time is entered.
Determine need and send in requests for additional materials, equipment, and personnel. You must be specific and include pictures if possible.
Attend daily/weekly conference call with NES managers and be responsible for a brief review of progress/needs of site.
Be available for overtime or emergency response as needed.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be either on site or having a designated crew member in their place until they return. It is expected the foreman for each site to be available to crew members as much as possible except for material runs, meeting attendance, or other events that pull them from the site. This position is performed in outside weather conditions all 12 months of the year.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and may require longer hours and frequent weekend work.
Required Education and Experience:
Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician
High school diploma
OSHA 30 certification
Minimum 4 years of experience managing an electrical install crew for solar PV installation
Driver's license and clean driving record
Demonstrated critical thinking, organization and planning, prioritization, and follow up skills
Demonstrated leadership and supervision skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft O365
Proficiency Procore or similar construction management software
You must have a valid Drivers License and a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Education and Experience:
NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification
Fall protection training
Forklift operator experience
First aid certified
