In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Perform field inspection of energized electrical equipment including panelboards, disconnects, MCCs, vaults, and transformers, generally operating at low voltage (≤480V), with occasional work involving medium-voltage systems (5 kV-15 kV) such as transformers, junction vaults, switches, and switchgear. Install and remove load monitoring equipment (current transformers, data loggers, etc.) for NEC 220.87 load studies. Collect and record electrical system data for coordination, short-circuit, and arc-flash studies. Prepare field reports, photos, and one-line markups documenting existing conditions. Review electrical drawings for constructability and assist with QA/QC. Follow NFPA 70E and LOTO safety procedures at all times. Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate with electrical engineers and designers. Travel within the region and occasionally to out-of-state projects.
