Perform duties to remove, repair and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting. Employee will work under minimal supervision where the primary objective is safe production. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Write and submit log sheets, work or parts orders, or other required documents. Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards. Utilize individually and/or further the use of total quality concepts, tools, and techniques to support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which the position participates with a positive "Can Do" attitude. You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN LEADER (EXPERT) in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY to include work sites of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
