Job Summary The Electrician is responsible for performing electrical work in control cabinets, panel boards, etc., wiring/rewiring of electrical cabinets and electrical components, running conduit, writing programs and install in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Responsible for the programming and installation of PLCs and the drawing of ladder logic diagrams to match such. * Keep work areas clean on a daily basis. (All wire, conduit, raceways, etc.) All should be stored in a clean, safe manner. * Responsible for company issued tools. (ex: benders, punches, labeler, drills, etc., are to be cleaned and stored when not in use) * All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED. * Minimum 2-3 years Ladder Logic and programming of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). * Prior electrical background required. Job Description We are seeking experienced AC Electricians and experienced helpers. Attention to detail and taking pride in your work is a must. Candidates should be experienced in conduit bending, cutting, and threading of rigid metal conduit, underground conduit installations. This position requires knowledge of the National Electrical Code. The position we are looking to fill is for a lead electrician capable of working independently. We work 2-man crews, and the work week is (4) 10 Hour days. Candidates must have computer skills and experience in word and excel. We service customers in the critical power industry and this work requires nighttime cutovers during transition periods related to our work. This position requires travel since we work within an 8-state radius and are growing. We want team players. Employees focused on their success as well as the companies. We offer paid vacation, paid holidays, paid health insurance for the employee, FR shirts and pants and a $200.00 boot allowance. We offer $150.00 a day per diem for overnight stays. (Covers your hotel & Meals) Company vehicle for leads after 90-days. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Accustomed to multimeters and know how to test continuity/resistance, voltage, current, and frequency. 4+ years performing AC equipment installations, connections, wiring, and testing. 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in the AC trade, Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle are required. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and clean driving record. Willing to travel. Knowledgeable in Word and Excel. Ideal candidates will be goal driven, creative, and desire a fulfilling career and not just a job. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Varies depending based on experience.
