Position Overview: The ideal candidate for the Master Craftsperson-Electrician will have a strong background in commercial and industrial environments. Residential backgrounds are great, too. This is a hands-on role requiring a deep understanding of electrical systems, pipe bending, and working safely in manufacturing facilities. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, as well as reading blueprints, specification sheets, and schematics to ensure accurate and efficient work that is code compliant. Tools and PPE, to include glasses and boots, are supplied. Responsibilities and Duties: *Understand electrical code and have the resources to find answers so all work is code compliant. *Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical systems and make accurate connections. *Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including low and high voltage systems, in a commercial or industrial setting. Perform work at heights and varying weather conditions. Collaborate with other tradespeople and production to ensure a seamless process. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure the safety and integrity of electrical systems. Work effectively and efficiently, meeting deadlines and staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Follows safety guidelines (PPE, etc.) and demonstrates safe work practices. Ability to perform tasks in a safe manner, following plant safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout.. Adheres to the safety and quality standards (goals and metrics) of the organization while working within a team environment. Safely operates various hand and power tools. Responds to multiple assignments in a timely and efficient manner. Overtime may be required, based on business need; regular attendance required. Other duties as assigned.
