What Does An Electromechanical Engineering Technologist Do At Entegee

* Document, investigate and analyze out of specification occurrences and monitor quality trends.
* Assist in determination of root cause investigations and propose and implement corrective actions utilizing the Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) system, including 8D, A3, and 7-step tools.
* Represent Quality Assurance on CAPA and CI teams
* Complete first article inspections per applicable standard operating procedures, and analyze data.
* Analyze and process customer complaints; prepare regularly scheduled trend reports.
* Investigate production component failures and work with vendors to implement acceptance activities, monitor production yield and improve their processes and procedures, including issuance and follow up of Supplier Corrective Action Requests.
* Validate quality processes and determine operational and performance qualification requirements; write/update quality assurance procedures.
* Develop quality assurance plans; identify critical control points and preventive measures; establish critical limits, monitor procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
* Work with vendors to implement vendor-based quality improvements that would result in reducing incoming inspection and instead relying on vendor to deliver product.
* Look for and promote opportunities to improve materials, processes, and products.
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of all Electro
* Mechanical products
* Assist in developing and mentoring the QA inspection team members.
* Take leadership role in upgrading and acquiring inspection tools and equipment.
* When necessary, perform duties of QA Inspector, including but not limited to inspection, product release, issuance of Reject Reports, evaluation of RMA items
