Our Hartsville Converting Operation has an opening for an experienced Electro-Mechanic with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or military. While reporting to the Plant Engineer, the ElectroMechanic is responsible for achieving a high level of reliability for plant equipment through performing tasks required to maintain equipment and minimize downtime. This individual will use their training and knowledge to perform equipment/process/system maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, make repairs and identify opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate must have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Understands and follows safety policies and procedures. Performs all tasks safely and does not take risks. Additionally, identifies safety risks and works to reduce them.Must be able to pass Category 2 electrical safe work practices standards and utilize safe work practices and PPESupplies and maintains their own tools.Documents and performs preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures.Creates, and document work completed using C-works.Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality or productivity.Installs, troubleshoots, tests, repairs and maintains equipment and machinery used in the Hartsville Converting Operation for the manufacturing of tubes, cores and related products. Must have a good working knowledge of the mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic functions Must have exceptional skills in the areas of electricity, electric components, variable-speed drives, and PLC's. Installs/troubleshoots/repairs AC and DC drives/motors Rebuilds various parts/equipment Experience in machine shop equipment such as lathes, drills, milling machines and welding is also a plus.

Candidate must successfully complete the required WorkKeys or WIN assessments as well as the Mechanical and Electrical Minimizers.

This position requires the ability to work with limited direction from supervision as well as good oral and written communication and computer skills. Must have, or be able to qualify for a fork truck license. Primarily 1st shift, but must be willing to work 2nd shift every 4th week. Candidate must be also be willing to work overtime including weekends.

Base Rate: $27.07- $34.92/hr. based on experience + potential monthly bonus

Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

Sr. Printed Wiring Board (PWB) designer with Cadence Allegro and/or Mentor Graphics DxDesigner/Expedition design experience. Schematic capture a plus. Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of PWB designing, fabrication, Mentor PWB layout Software, and should be familiar with Unix/Windows NT, and Linux would be considered a plus. Candidate will be responsible for designing High Density, High Speed Surface mount PWB's with some Thru Hole, Flex, RigidFlex PWB's. RF Circuit PCB design, PWB Design. Boards will consist of 10 or more layers, mostly single sided assembly. Double sided assembly with Blind/Buried/Micro via experience is a must. Applicant should have experience with BGA's and fine pitch Surface mount devices. Candidate will be responsible for layout from placement thru fabrication artwork using Lockheed Martin design processes and IPC2221 Design Standards. Manage tools installation, licenses, write scripts and document librarian symbols. Candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

- Candidate must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience in printed wiring board technologies
-PWB designer with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner/Expedition or Cadence Allegro design experience.

We're looking for an individual who is safety oriented, innovative and dependable. You will have extensive experience in Industrial Maintenance and expertise in automated high-speed packaging equipment.

**About the Role**

As a member of the Maintenance Team, you will ensure that all electrical assets are maintained to a high standard.

Plant breakdowns will be repaired in a timely manner. The general responsibilities of this role are (but not limited to):

Processing: Pumps, Valves, Mix Proof Valves, Instruments, CIP or Other Cleaning Systems,

High-Speed Packaging: Depalletizer, Empty bottles Inspector, Rinser, Fillers, Cappers, Labeling Equipment, Case Packers, Ink and Laser Coders, Palletizers, Stretch Wrappers, Conveying systems

+ Ability to solve and maintain production and other plant machinery including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Incumbent must have a proven understanding of the operation of the following:

+ Understand and know NEC code, able to work on 3 phase, 480 V system as well 230/240v.

+ Knowledgeable in electronic devices and able to program variable frequency drives (VFD)

+ Understanding and experience in use of control logic, and capable of solving PLC's. Capable of writing minor PLC code

+ Understanding and capability to solve power transmission system, such as motors, gear boxes, bearings, belts, shafts, belts, etc.

+ Capable of performing machine centers preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.

+ Prepare, start up or set up various production equipment

+ Complete machine centers and/production line change overs

+ Respond to and solve site wide service calls

+ Perform facility maintenance tasks as assigned

+ Uses machine shop instrumentation and equipment to fabricate repair parts.

+ Maintains equipment parts and supplies inventories.

+ Machines, fabricates, welds and fastens materials, using engine lathe vertical milling machine, horizontal universal milling machine, drill press, boring bar, hydraulic press, metal hear and brake press.

+ Ensures the timely and accurate completion of the preventive, predictive, corrective, and improvement sections of the maintenance program.

+ Requisitions necessary tolls, equipment and supplies.

+ Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures, perform tasks per the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and follow general housekeeping guidelines and rules for Food Safety Regulations. Keep area updated with 5S.

**Experience and qualification**

+ Associate degree, Apprenticeship or equivalent in electromechanical technology or similar with 3 to 5 years' experience in high-speed manufacturing environment

+ Proficiency with electrical and mechanical system with a proven understanding of AC and DC voltages and mechanical power transmission systems.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints, P&ID, PLC code

+ Experienced in new equipment installation, minor welding and fabrication
