Our Hartsville Converting Operation has an opening for an experienced Electro-Mechanic with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or military. While reporting to the Plant Engineer, the ElectroMechanic is responsible for achieving a high level of reliability for plant equipment through performing tasks required to maintain equipment and minimize downtime. This individual will use their training and knowledge to perform equipment/process/system maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, make repairs and identify opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate must have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Understands and follows safety policies and procedures. Performs all tasks safely and does not take risks. Additionally, identifies safety risks and works to reduce them.Must be able to pass Category 2 electrical safe work practices standards and utilize safe work practices and PPESupplies and maintains their own tools.Documents and performs preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures.Creates, and document work completed using C-works.Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality or productivity.Installs, troubleshoots, tests, repairs and maintains equipment and machinery used in the Hartsville Converting Operation for the manufacturing of tubes, cores and related products. Sr. Printed Wiring Board (PWB) designer with Cadence Allegro and/or Mentor Graphics DxDesigner/Expedition design experience. Schematic capture a plus. Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of PWB designing, fabrication, Mentor PWB layout Software, and should be familiar with Unix/Windows NT, and Linux would be considered a plus. Candidate will be responsible for designing High Density, High Speed Surface mount PWB's with some Thru Hole, Flex, RigidFlex PWB's. RF Circuit PCB design, PWB Design. Boards will consist of 10 or more layers, mostly single sided assembly. Double sided assembly with Blind/Buried/Micro via experience is a must.
