The building controls technician is responsible for safe and efficient operations and maintenance of the controls equipment that affects the HVAC systems, boilers, and other related equipment. The BCT is responsible for the operation of the Building Automation System (BAS) and maintains all equipment in proper operating condition. The BCT responds to alarms related to the Building Automation System and makes decisions as well as corrective actions. The BCT performs preventive/predictive maintenance on the facilities support systems. This position will support all Adena Health facilities that are on HVAC controls.
