Voluntary overtime hours available. Position Summary Under general supervision, perform a variety of manufacturing assembly tasks in accordance with product documentation. This role covers a large variety of electronic assembly tasks, processes, soldering, machine operation, material uses, operating equipment, and hand tools. Team members may work at several workstations, on product that is typically 'shoe box' sized. Employees in this role must be able to learn and grow within the manufacturing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Perform assembly of electronic components, subassemblies, and final products using small hand tools, electronic screw drivers, general adhesive staking, and soldering equipment. * Read and interpret assembly instructions, product drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and job order travelers. * Conduct visual inspections of workmanship. * Document work performed and complete required production records accurately. * Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. * Collaborate with quality control and manufacturing engineering teams to resolve assembly or product issues. * Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and product reliability. * Ability to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, as required. * Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations. * As the Company's success relies on the productivity of our team and adherence to customer product schedules, an essential function of this position is the ability to arrive to work on-time, and work each day, as scheduled. * Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications: High school education or equivalent and two years related assembly experience, including panel wiring and conduit installation. Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints, production/assembly instructions, parts lists, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components. Ability to apply previous experience and sound assembly techniques to perform detailed written or oral instructions. Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand 80% of the time.
